Caress (vampire Book Cover)

hi,
just completed this new piece which should be used for the first in a series of vampire 'erotic' novels. The concept was for the main character to have a feeling of remorse but also a bit of defiance over the 'draining' of her victim / lover.. not quite sure if i managed to pull it off? lol
Hopefully the eye should be the focal point for the front cover with the little moth (little bit of deathly symbolism there) being the focal on the back.
some refs used, especially for the sheets, but quite happy with how they came out.
the background 'wallpaper' pattern was created in illustrator as a tile and placed in using photoshops new smart object paste command (which is great- keeps the vector data live, allowing for repeated scalling without rasterisation.) painterIX for pretty much everything then some lighting and color adjustments in ps.
crits / comments welcome! cheers!

The Shifting Heart

another book cover, its one of those 'paranormal romance' books that you wouldnt touch with a barge pole, and its not something i want to make a habbit of doing but it pays the bills lol
anyway- after a lot of rough mockups this one was approved, spent about 3 days doing the roughs and about 3 on the final piece, mainly painter but in and out of photoshop for color corrections. the girls lace took quite awhile- all with painters digital airbrush. some low res refs used for the figures. (and before anyone says anything- the lensflare was created- it wasnt PS's filter )
unusually, i did the layout as well, have a look at the hires for the final cover.
crits and comments welcome, cheers.
thought i would try and kick myself into getting some more illustration work done, this is part of a collection of 4 pieces based on the seasons (done to death i know ), no real message to this one, mainly done for fun and to update the old portfolio,
usual software, painterIX for the girls skin, illustrator for the birds and hedges, PSCS for pretty much everything else.
feedback and crits appreciated.
cheers.
will post some detail shots up later.
feedback / crits welcome as usuall.

hi all,
another piece for my own amusement basic concept of a guy who creates a winged woman and keeps her restrained whilst keeping her guessing as to whether he will ever let her fly free.. not mcuh of a story i agree- but i needed to get something done
took the best part of a week to complete (the wings taking a stupid amount of time to get them the way i wanted), painter for the skin and clouds, some bits and pieces in illustrator but mostly done in PSCS. (again- A3 300dpi)
will post up some details later- as always, crits / feedback appreciated
cheers.
This was a piece that was just a painting exercise for me, i wanted to create a classical feeling composition but something that also felt quite contemporary.

Crits welcome as always and a short walkthrough / process can be found on my new blog. < a href="http://tombagshaw.blogspot.com">tombagshaw.blogspot</a>

heres a piece that i did for an upcoming show, just something a little weird for fun. This was a pretty big piece- A2 at 300dpi, but again, most of the elements were painted in seperate files and then brought together for final tweaks. A short process can be found on my blog.
